A NOTE FROM MS. MARNEY:
The RPL Exploratory is in full bloom! And you can experience everything that is growing and blossoming right now...virtually!
In each week's video class, I'll show you something that is growing naturally on our property, and teach you a little bit about it: what makes it special, how it can be used, its function in our ecosystem, and how to take care of it.
Then everyone will be given time to create something – anything – inspired by the plant, herb or flower of the week. It could be something like...
Each week will be a standalone class with a new plant & new creative prompts, so you can attend every week or come when you can.
The format of the class is:
20 Minutes: Presentation
20 Minutes: Individual creating time
20 Minutes: Sharing our creations!
This mixed age class is great for kids of any age, including parents - and family members can work together or by themselves.
It is recommended that kids under 6 need to have a helper (parent or older sibling)
Writing isn’t required – there are lots of ways to create – but if your child wants to write and may need a bit of support - please consider joining the class to take notes or dictation.
PER CLASS FEE:
$5/child or $10/family per class
