Calling all aspiring songwriters! In this 4-week series, Mr. Tony (who writes our music for RPL musicals) will use idea-sparking games to help kids tap into their creative superpowers, combining original music and lyrics to create songs of their own.
No musical training or experience is necessary, although kids who do play an instrument can incorporate it into their original songs.
Kids can write songs on their own or together, and, if there is interest, our budding songwriters have the opportunity to perform their songs as a special Opening Act before performances of The Wizard of Songz at Dallas Children's Theater.
