Free Musical Theatre Workshops at Read Play Love!

Tues/20, Thurs/22, and Fri/23:
Timeslot 1:  4:00-4:45 (ages 4-8)
Timeslot 2:  4:45-6:00 (ages 8-17)

Workshops are FREE but reservations are required. 

Get a taste of what theatre at Read Play Love is all about....

• Our goal is to be the ideal environment for kids to try theatre for the first time, as well as  more experienced performers to stretch their wings & grow. 
• We emphasize a positive, empowering approach where kids are invited to contribute to the creative process with their own great ideas. 
• We always welcome kids to go at their own pace, including "just watching" until they are comfortable jumping in (they might surprise you!)
• Using a fun framework builds confidence --allowing kids to relaxed through a unique experience for creative expression!  

In each of the Free Workshops, kids will learn and perform a song from one of the shows in our upcoming Fall Production.  Keep reading for more details and to reserve your spot... 

Tuesday September 20
4:00-4:45 - Age 4-8
5:00-6:15 - Age 8+
In Tuesday's workshops, kids will learn and perform a song from "Farmer Boy, Prairie Girl" (based on the "Little House" series)- which will be rehearsing on Tuesdays 4-6pm, and performed with our "Musical Classics" production in December.

Thursday September 22
4:00-4:45 - Age 4-8
5:00-6:15 - Age 8+
In Thursday's workshops, kids will learn and perform a song from "Some Pig!" (based on Charlotte's Web) - which will be rehearsing on Thursdays 4-6pm, and performed with our "Musical Classics" production in December.

In Fridays' workshops, kids will learn and perform a song from "Little Christmas in Concord" (based on Little Women)- which will be rehearsing on Thursdays 4-6pm, and performed with our "Musical Classics" production in December.

The Free Workshops are held at the Read Play Love Exploratory in Lowry Crossing (East McKinney) - featuring two acres of outdoor playspace for kids, an extensive an extensive children's library with checkout privileges, indoor play areas, and more!

Feel free to come early or stay after to play...siblings are welcome, too!
