Read Play Love is offering FREE workshops to kick off our Fall Musical: "Less Miserable": A Musical Adventure Through Happiness & Hope!
In these Free workshops, kids will get to learn one of the songs from the show, choreograph it, and perform it for parents at the end of the workshop. Workshops are divided into age groups: 3-5, 6-10, and 11+, and there are both homeschool and afterschool timeslots available.

For Ages 3-5
*For the younger kids interested in the summer production, there will be a sign-up on site for quick & simple auditions right after the workshop. It is not necessary to reserve an audition slot ahead of time.

About the Workshops:
These Free Workshops are a great opportunity to get a taste of what theatre at RPL is all about....
- Our goal is to be the ideal environment for kids to try theatre for the first time, as well as more experienced performers to stretch their wings & grow.
- We emphasize a positive, empowering approach where kids are invited to contribute to the creative process with their own great ideas.
- We always welcome kids to go at their own pace, including "just watching" until they are comfortable jumping in (they might surprise you!)
- Using a fun framework builds confidence --allowing kids to relaxed through a unique experience for creative expression!
About Our Location:

Workshops are held at the Read Play Love Exploratory in Lowry Crossing (East McKinney) - two acres of playspace for kids! Feel free to come early or stay after to play!
If weather permits, the workshops will be held outdoors. If weather necessitates indoors, we will be in our cottage. Masks are optional. |
