Calling Singers for Carols for a Cause 2020!

Our annual “Carols for a Cause” tradition starts December 12, 2020 … and we need young carolers! It's easy and fun to participate!
All you have to do is send a simple video of your child(ren) singing a holiday song by Dec 8 2020, and we’ll add it to our virtual caroling extravaganza! Then, starting December 12, people will be invited to "come caroling" and make a gift of any amount to RPL, and select a family who will "come carling" via a video delivered to their inbox. It's really easy to participate ... all you have to do is make a video of your child or family singing a holiday song! |

Here are the step-by-step instructions to participate:
1. Let Marney know that you plan to participate, if you have not done so already.
2. Take a video of your child(ren) singing any holiday song. A few hints:
3. Send your video to Marney no later than December 8. (Send via Google Drive, Dropbox, Wetransfer, etc.)
4. We'll "dress up" your video for the holidays and add it to the line up of carolers!
5. Starting December 12, a group of carolers will be available to visit anyone who makes a donation of any amount. We will give you some text that you can use to post/share about Carols for a Cause, but you are not required to do so.

- If possible, film it in landscape mode (horizontal).
- The song can be with accompianment or not. Any length is fine.
- Imperfection is adorable!
- If you have more than one child, they can record a song together, or individually - whichever they prefer.
- Feel free to include instruments, too!
- If the kids are willing, ask them to share a sentence or two why Read Play Love matters to them, and/or a short holiday greeting!
