As a theatre teacher myself, I just really appreciate you fostering a love of theatre through a very low pressure environment in LITTLE LIBRARY MUSICALS. That can be a rare thing- there aren’t many opportunities for little ones to have the chance to shine by themselves on stage without being in the chorus of a higher pressure “big kids” show until they’re older. My son just had a blast, and we’ve signed up for next month! - Katie C.

Our new Little Library Musical series for age 4-6 presents new mini-musicals with creative twists on favorite childrens stories! Each month, our young actors learn and prepare a new RPL-original mini musical to perform for friends and family.

Our upcoming Little Library Musical is called “Hey Diddle What?” and it is all about a group of kids who decide to put on a musical – as they figure out all the elements (script, set, costumes, props, etc.) – everything gets mixed up in a delightfully silly way!

Each child receives a CD to play at home, to practice at home and learn songs and simple lines. These short shows allow a positive opportunity for young actors to become comfortable on stage, and feel the achievement of producing an actual show - with lights, sounds, and costume pieces - at the end!

Register Soon! Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: There is no Little Library Musical Program for April.
The 4-week series for May begins April 30.

May Musical:
"Hey Diddle What?: The Mother Goose Mix-Up"

(no class May 7: all are invited to the Encore Performance of "The Whimsical World of Sherlock Holmes"

Performance June 3 at 5:00pm
"My son has loved his LITTLE LIBRARY MUSICAL experience. Every day he asks me when we can come back, and I love that he gets the experience of being in an actual production!  The attention to detail in this program is fantastic and perfectly aligned with the needs of children this age." - Katy S.

Broadway Babies  (age 2-3)

BROADWAY BABIES has shown me that kids are capable to do and learn so many things at such a young age. The fact that they can follow instructions to create a short play is amazing!  All the patience that Ms. Marney has and the way she teaches them really makes a great difference in how quickly they catch everything. - Carla P.
We invite young toddlers age 2-3 onto the Read Play Love stage to sing, dance, and play!   This program is born from our desire to provide a 100% playful experience with no pressure in which the little ones can be introduced to the stage and have fun!

Each session consists of:
- 4 weekly 45-minute sessions
- A performance after the finl session, including lights, sound and costumes for the kids!
- A CD play at home, to encourage familiarity with the songs
- A video of the songs, to encourage multi-sensory learning through repetition
"My daughter talked about the show all week and she loved practicing at home with the video!" - Mike R.

"This program is a wonderful safe place for creative independent play!" - Sarah H.

"My boys love it  They can be who they are and they ask me to come back almost daily." - Huibrie
We conclude with a short performance in the final week, where our little stars will get to shine in costumes and under stage lights for their stage debut!

Times: Mondays 11:00-11:45 a.m.
