Free Teen Masterclass Series in August!
Since 2023, Read Play Love has offered theatre programming just for teens, including musical theatre classes and a full-scale production. Many teens are involved in both our mainstage RPL musicals (for all ages) and the teen-only shows, and find valuable experiences in both settings. We also offer more advanced classes for building skills and confidence and helping each individual teen grow to the best of their ability. RPL primarily serves homeschooling families, and the majority of teens in our activities are in home- or hybird- schooling.
Our Fall Teen Musical (TBA) will begin its workshop, auditions, and rehearsals on June 5, taking place on Fridays at 5:00pm. Send us a note if you'd like to be notified when more information is available about the Fall Teen Musical.
Free Workshops for Teens (age 13-18) to learn and practice musical theatre fundamentals, while becoming more familiar with our upcoming Teen Musical, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," which we will use as our source material.
The Masterclasses are Free, and take place on three consecutive Fridays in November, 4:30-7:30pm.
Participation in this series is not a requirement for auditioning for the production, but it will provide a rich foundation before production begins.
Conversely, kids are welcome to participate in the Masterclasses even if they do not plan to audition for the show.
