 🌻The RPL Experience🌻

At RPL, Families are always warmly invited to linger after their classes and enjoy the RPL Exploratory: exploring two acres of outdoor playspace, visiting our friendly chickens, or cuddling up with a book from our extensive children’s library. At RPL, we’re here to offer meaningful experiences through the arts and the outdoors -- what we call Free-Range Creativity.

While we primarily serve homeschooling families, all are welcome. As a 501(c)3 organization, our mission is to empower youth through the arts and create an inclusive culture of love.

As a team, the kids will learn skills like:
  • checking books in and out
  • shelving them correctly (with treasure hunts through the books!)
  • processing donations and adding new books to our app database
  • curating themed book displays
  • creating crafts & decorations for the library
  • and lots more!

Weekly Fun Book Reports!  Plus, kids who want to go deeper will be encouraged to check out a book and share a short, fun mini-report the following week...like show-and-tell for books!

About Musical Theatre U:  Teen Musical Theatre U is an immersive and FUN training experience designed to build strong, confident musical theatre performers. All levels welcome, including brand-new beginners.  6 weeks program, with each week introducing a different decade in musical theatre history as its source material.

5:00-6:00 | Dance with Ms. Lisa
Students study jazz and ballet foundations for musical theatre, focusing on executing core dance vocabulary with precision, clarity, and confidence (pivot turns, chassés, ball changes, three-step turns, and more). Emphasis is placed on spatial awareness, efficient use of the body, intentional movement choices, and connecting choreography to character and storytelling—demonstrating how small technical adjustments can significantly elevate stage performance.

6:00–7:00 | Acting & Singing with Ms. Marney
Using scenes and songs from classic and contemporary musicals, students refine their skills to take musical theatre performance to the next level. Vocal work emphasizes musical dynamics, pitch accuracy, vocal agility, stamina, and sustained character commitment through song. Acting training includes monologues and scene study, with focused work on script analysis, making specific and playable acting choices, emotional truth, partner awareness, and integrating acting, voice, and movement into a cohesive, professional-level performance.
