Free Musical Theatre Workshops at Read Play Love!

Dates and Times:

Thursday Feb 9 & Friday Feb 10
Two sessions on both days:
3:30-4:30 : Age 5-8
4:30-5:30  Age 8+

The activities  during the Open House Days will give your family a taste of what Read Play Love is all about!  The Open House events are largely focused around our summer theatre productions and auditions, but if theatre isn't your thing, don't worry!  Our summer schedule includes other activities, too, such as Lego Creations and Pizazz Painting.  For the full Summer Schedule, go here.

Before and after activities, families can enjoy two acres of outdoor playspace, an extensive children's library with checkout privileges, indoor play areas, and more!  Pack lunch and snacks and stay as long as you like!  The RPL Exploratory is conveniently located near major highways, but the country setting feels like it's a whole world away...you'll love it!  ​

Get a taste of what theatre at Read Play Love is all about....
  • Our goal is to be the ideal environment for kids to try theatre for the first time, as well as  more experienced performers to stretch their wings & grow. 
  • We emphasize a positive, empowering approach where kids are invited to contribute to the creative process with their own great ideas. 
  • We always welcome kids to go at their own pace, including "just watching" until they are comfortable jumping in (they might surprise you!)
  • Using a fun framework builds confidence --allowing kids to relaxed through a unique experience for creative expression!  
In each of the Free Workshops, kids will learn and perform a song from one of the shows in our upcoming Spring Production, One Star Apart. They can even stay after the workshop to audition!
